This requires the download of the third-party apps. You can download any one app from the following to enjoy text to speech conversion.
Download the pdf of your favourite book. Open the third-party app, there you can find the ebook you downloaded. Tap and start listening...

How to convert EPUB to an audible format
This technique applies only to epub format and there should be Google Play Books app in your device.
On successful downloading open the epub file, it will automatically get uploaded to Play Books app... Be patient because it may take a few minutes to get uploaded.
Now open Play Books you will find the uploaded epub in the library section. Tap the book and choose "Read out loud" option from the top right-most corner. That's it, start listening to the audiobook!!!
